About NFZ Malaysia

NFZ Malaysia is an interactive map tool that helps drone pilots locate no-fly zones across Malaysia at a glance. It brings restricted airspace around airports, military installations, government buildings, prisons, power plants and other sensitive sites onto one minimalist map, so you can check whether a planned flight is safe before you ever leave the ground.

The app is built for anyone flying a drone in Malaysia — hobbyists, content creators, surveyors, inspectors and professional operators alike. Beyond showing no-fly zones, it offers live weather conditions and flight-safety assessments for your exact location, distance measuring between points, searchable places across the country, and a step-by-step permit guide covering landowner and local council permission, JUPEM aerial photography licensing, CGSO national security clearance and CAAM airspace approval. Pilots can also report missing no-fly zones, which are reviewed before being added to the map.

NFZ Malaysia is built and maintained by Kencana Studio, a Malaysian drone services company that flies inspection, development, production and event projects across the country. The platform is a private-sector product — it is not affiliated with CAAM, JUPEM, CGSO or any other government agency. Zone data is provided as general guidance only: always confirm current restrictions with the relevant authorities before every flight.
